Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special
Education Teacher to support middle school students in grades 6
through 8. This full-time, contract position provides comprehensive
experience in delivering specialized instruction and fostering an
inclusive learning environment tailored to meet individual student
needs. Responsibilities include: - Designing and implementing
individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse
learning needs - Collaborating with general education teachers and
support staff to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies -
Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
in compliance with state regulations - Participating in
parent-teacher conferences and multidisciplinary team meetings to
discuss student goals and progress - Creating a supportive and
positive classroom environment that encourages academic and social
growth Qualifications: - Valid Professional Educator License (PEL)
with LBS1 endorsement is required - Experience working with
students in grades 6-8, specializing in special education - Strong
knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and
behavioral intervention strategies - Excellent communication and
organizational skills Location and Schedule: - Position is based in
Joliet, IL - Middle school setting with a caseload of special
education students - Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
