Job Description:

Aramark is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency and excellence of the facilities we service, including universities, schools, hospitals, and other client locations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver who can maintain and repair facility equipment and structures, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all. Perform routine building maintenance duties, including painting, minor electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and heating and ventilation systems maintenance. Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair, making notes and recommendations using a predefined checklist. Execute preventive maintenance to ensure comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, and troubleshoot issues to resolve them. Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems, and report back on any potential issues or improvements. Adhere to all company safety policies and regulations. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Proven knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade. Capable of handling plumbing repairs, painting, and routine building maintenance. Ability to use hand and electrical tools safely and effectively. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
