All while understanding that together we are even better. /n /n/n /n Location: AdventHealth Hinsdale Hospital /n /n/n /n 3rd shift /n /n/n /n The role you’ll contribute: /n /n/n /n Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. /n /n/n /n The value you’ll bring to the team: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. /n /n - Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. /n /n - Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. /n /n - Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines. /n /n - Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department. /n /n/n /n/n /n Qualifications /n /n The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: /n /n/n /n/n /n - Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred. /n /n - BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. /n /n - Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. /n /n - Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required /n /n - Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred. /n /n - CT experience preferred. /n /n/n /n/n /n This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
