This exciting role offers an opportunity to provide core and essential support to the business operations, applying your expertise in month-end close processes, financial reporting, and audit compliance. You will have the chance to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals and collaborate on high-impact strategic decisions that contribute to the financial health and growth of the company. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for: 1. Assisting with the monthly financial close process, including but not limited to, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. 2. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. 3. Reviewing corporate expenses and providing detailed analysis and explanations of variances. 4. Assisting in the design and execution of operational procedures for financial processes and systems. 5. Coordinating with finance team members to complete assigned tasks within deadlines. 6. Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status. 7. Assisting with annual audit preparations. 8. Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance. 9. Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures. 10. Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Staff Accountant position will have: 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a strong focus on month-end close processes. 3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is highly preferred. 4. Proficient in relevant accounting software, preferably Infor Styeline 5. Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 6. Strong analytical skills, with a thorough attention to detail. 7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 8. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. 9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 10.
