Are you a detail-oriented accountant with at least one year of experience looking to take the next step in your career? Our regional CPA firm is seeking a skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join their growing Client Accounting Services (CAS) team . This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with their diverse client base, particularly in the non-profit sector, providing critical accounting support for a variety of clients. Accountant Key Responsibilities: Lead/train/guide: A small team of Accounting Associates Accounts Payable : Manage and process vendor invoices and payments Accounts Receivable : Oversee invoicing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate entries Bank & Credit Card Activity : Reconcile statements and track transactions for multiple accounts Payroll : Assist with processing payroll for clients in a timely and accurate manner Balance Sheet Reconciliations : Perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness Month-End Close : Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely completion and reporting Client Interaction : Regular communication with clients to ensure accurate and efficient accounting processes Accountant Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 year of accounting experience in a professional setting Strong understanding of general accounting principles Non-profit experience is preferred but not required Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Why Join Us?
