This is a permanent role where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our corporate accounting processes. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance/accounting and a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Oversee all corporate accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.2. Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports, including monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and forecasts.3. Coordinate and manage annual audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient process.4. Implement and monitor internal controls to maintain the integrity of financial data and safeguard company assets.5. Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.6. Collaborate with senior management to provide strategic financial guidance and support business decision-making.7. Streamline accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.8. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure the company's financial practices remain compliant and competitive.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Corporate Controller position will have:1. A valid CPA certification.2. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.4. Proficiency in GAAP and other relevant financial regulations and standards.5. Proven experience leading all corporate accounting processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.6. Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing teams.7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.9. A proactive approach, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and drive change.10.
