Senior Accounting Analyst

POSITION PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the CFO, the Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for performing accounting and analytic functions including budgeting and forecasting within the Company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform accounting and analytic functions including budgeting and forecasting within the Company with a focus on timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting
Forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish costs by part
Work with CFO and other executive-level team members
Apply principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting systems

Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Achieve accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends

REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 5-7 years of experience
Knowledge of ERP systems and related technology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to take initiative and work both with a team as well as independently
Utilize your strengths to become an active participant and impactful member of the team
Possess organization skills and attention to detail
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Suite and ERP applications
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
